You've got the seats, now finish the installation by enabling your thermoelectric heating and cooling!

This kit provides a standalone computer with all related wiring to operate the thermoelectric units built into factory cooled seats. An OEM switch is also included. One retrofit kit will get the heating & cooling system operable for a single seat.

One retrofit kit will get the heating & cooling system operable for a single seat. This can be installed into the original vehicle as an upgrade, retrofitted into an older vehicle, or even mounted on a pallet. If you have 12 volts and a compatible seat you've got all you need.

Doing It The Right Way 

This kit costs less than the thermoelectric units you'll need to replace if you use an aftermarket controller that causes damage. All components in this kit are manufactured by the OEMs for Ford. This includes the crucial overheat protection circuit which is bypassed with aftermarket solutions. Cutting corners may save time on the track but when we're dealing with a thermoelectric unit right under your butt we prefer to do things by the book.  

There are ways to jerry rig these to hook up "only the fans" but this system is not a closed system so these seats do not perform well with just ventilation, over 50% of the air volume is lost as waste at the thermoelectric unit. 

Cooled F150 Seats Vs Ventilated F150 Seats

This generation truck offered both cooled and ventilated seats. Cooled seats were offered from 2015 through 2017. The 2018 model year introduced "ventilated" seats. This kit will only work with truly cooled seats. You can update your F150 to have cooling features or use the seats in pretty much anything you want!
