We stock 2019 and Newer Replacement Seats for Dodge Ram Heavy Duty Trucks. The 5th Generation Ram HD debuted in 2019, offers a variety of seat options for different cab configurations and trim levels. There are actually three completely different trucks all being sold as Ram trucks right now. The 1500 uses the redesigned Ram Truck Seats. The Ram Classic uses the 4th Gen Ram Seats. The Heavy Duty Ram uses a different seat than the new DT model.
Thanks to the ultra heavy duty models not having airbags, you can get away with using pretty much anything in these trucks. See our Ram DS & DT Seat Guide for more information.

Available Materials
These seats were available in cloth, leather, and vinyl in a variety of patterns.
Safety Features Optional
SRS airbags were not included for the 4500 & 5500 models as standard. The available safety options include an Occupancy Sensor and Seatbelt Sensors. If you aren't sure what you have send us a picture of your plugs!
Seat Adjustments
Power adjustments were available, including power lumbar. 10-Way power was available for the driver side, and 6-Way power for the passenger side. See our Power Seat Conversion Kit complete with DIY installation instructions !
Heating & Ventilation
Heating (resistance wire) and cooling (negative pressure ventilation) were available on the highly optioned trucks.
5th Gen Ram 4500 & 5500 Seat Interchangeability
5th Gen Ram HD (2500 & 3500)
The 2500 & 3500 trucks were offered with the same interior options but with varying safety features for the driver and passenger seat. You can safely use a 2500 or 3500 seat in your 4500/5500 and know that whatever safety options you have, this will have.
Installing front seats with added safety features (airbag, occupancy sensor, seatbelt sensors) will not add these features, but you can still use the seats.
2021 - 2024 Dodge Ram Classic
The Ram Classic is a re-issue of the 2018 model year truck. These use 2013 - 2018 Style Ram Seats for the 2019 and 2020 models.
Installing front seats with added safety features (airbag, occupancy sensor, seatbelt sensors) will not add these features, but you can still use the seats. You can safely use a Classic seat in your 4500/5500 and know that whatever safety options you have, this will have.
2009 - 2018 Dodge Ram DS
The 2009-2018 Ram uses different materials compared to the Heavy Duty. The bolt pattern is the same. Center jumpseats are interchangeable however the wiring plug for the media panel will be different.
