Chevy Camaro Seat Information Guide
1993 - 2002 Camaro Seats - Fourth Generation
The Camaro, Firebird, and Trans-Am all share the same seat bolt pattern during these years, and everything is easily interchangeable. These seats have become incredibly difficult to find in good usable condition. We recommend fabricating in seats from a newer Camaro.
General Motors took 8 years to put out the New Camaro from the previous generation. Since the New Ford Mustang debuted in 2005, and was selling like hot cakes, GM had to play catch up. The redesigned Camaro starred in the first 2007 Transformers movie as Bumblebee. So, you would think that it would be for sale in 2008 on the showroom floor, but you would be wrong. After production problems, the Camaro didn't hit the showroom floor until April 2009, now that's a GM Oopsie.
2010 - 2015 Camaro Seats - Fifth Generation
This generation of Camaro introduced the "hook-mount" which allows the seats to be securely installed with only two bolts. Rears seats are not interchangeable between coupe and convertible.
2016 & Newer Camaro Seats - Sixth Generation
The Camaro, Firebird, and Trans-Am all share the same seat bolt pattern during these years, and everything is easily interchangeable. These seats have become incredibly difficult to find in good usable condition. We recommend fabricating in seats from a newer Camaro. Rumor has it that 2024 will be the last model year for the Chevy Camaro.
