The GMT800 Generation, known by enthusiasts as "NBS" had a mid-generation refresh. 1999 - 2002 models feature a more elaborate stitch pattern and foam design. The 2003 - 2006 models simple design led to improved durability.
Leather interiors were available in Neutral, Very Dark Pewter, Medium Dark Pewter, Shale, Graphite, and Medium Oak. Graphite and Oak interiors are exclusively found on the 1999 - 2002 models. Due to the extra stitches and pleated leather, the seats in the '99 - '02 wore out quickly.
3-Piece Split Bench Seat
These seats are very simply designed with a long service-life in mind. Heavy duty fabrics and vinyls were available.
Front Bucket Seats & Console
This option got rid of the center jumpseat and replaced it with a console. The '99-'02 trucks got a floor console and the '03 - '06 trucks received a "flow-through" console that integrated with the dashboard.
Powered Lumbar & Bolster
Ahh, the good old days. These seats feature powered bolster adjustments, allowing you to have your seats give you a little extra hug.
Center Jumpseat Options
Center jumpseats were available. If equipped with a jumpseat, the two front seats would not have folding armrests.
Center Console Options
Center consoles were available with a variety of wood grain trims and compartment layouts.
Rear Seat Options
Everything in front of the B pillar is the same, everything behind it is different. Rear seats are specific to the Trucks Cab size or the SUVs wheel base.
